I'm running for freshman rep this year to get my foot in the door of the Student Senate, and ultimately be in here for years to come as a student rep.

I don't have too many goals for the year, coming in as a freshman. Except I want to develop and help execute upon plans that will benefit us as a class as we get into the year

As your freshman rep, I want to set my sights on making the transition into a college environment as easy as possible. So that my actions this year will benefit the classes to come.
Alexis HardrathFirst-Year SenatorPolitical ScienceFirst and foremost, my name is Alexis Hardrath and I am running for first year senator. I truly believe that every first year and transfer student should have an equal opportunity to be equally treated and equally heard. I believe that I would be the right person to be a bigger voice for voices that may come up small. Within my beliefs, students should have the right to request change and I want to make that happen. One of my main objectives is to have a system that allows first year and transfer students to file requests or voice their opinions relating to their beliefs. I desire for my fellow classmates to enjoy their education experience throughout the upcoming years. I have a vision for change, a change for good and the benefit of the student body. The first year and transfer student body shall have a voice and it shall be equal to the next.
Elliot WhiteFirst-Year SenatorTheatre EducationMy name is Elliot White. I am a first year/freshman Theatre Education Major at Peck School of the Arts, running for the first-year senator position. I am a commuter student, but I have been connected to the UWM community both directly and indirectly for most of my life and am so proud to be part of it's student body now. My goal is to assist in making UWM the best possible place it can be. I want to be not only a voice, but an active support for my peers, both on campus and off. I intend to push for better communication between students and campus authorities, along with encouraging a stronger focus on students mental health support, rather than awareness alone. My motivation is simple, to help make UWM a space where EVERYONE is able to feel safe and comfortable regardless of age, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. Your vote for me will help make this a reality.
