Stephanie Collins, MSW, LCSW
Stephanie Collins is the confidential Survivor Support & Victim Advocacy Coordinator on campus for UWM students. Stephanie received her Master's in Social Work degree at UWM, Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, with an emphasis in trauma counseling and trauma-informed care. She is also trained specifically in sexual assault victim advocacy. Prior to becoming a campus advocate, Stephanie worked, for several years, as an advocate in the community. Stephanie works with students that have experienced sexual, dating, or domestic violence. She can offer emotional support, along with medical, legal, and academic advocacy. Stephanie has always had a passion for working with survivors. She believes in the importance of having a confidential advocate on campus and feels that it is her privilege to support students through their healing process. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time her family, friends, and pets!
