In this workshop, we will use poetry and songwriting\u00a0as a way to\u00a0free ourselves from the things that hold us back from being our true selves. As a teenager, he looked\u00a0to\u00a0music (specifically hip-hop, metal, and alternative rock) as a way of dealing with the pressures of high school and living up to others&#8217; expectations, that nearly led him to depression. Ever since he first performed poetry for his high school talent show, Static began going non-stop at writing and doing whatever it took to get his name heard.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335557856&quot;:16777215,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">As he made music a full-time ambition, he began cultivating his signature sound through\u00a0various styles. A sound that intentionally mixes spoken word roots, with sounds including Boom Bap, contemporary Trap, as well as House and Industrial.
