Director of the Children’s Learning Center
The Division of Student Affairs and UWM is hosting four finalists for the position of Director of the Children’s Learning Center.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Student Life & Services, the Director of the Children’s Learning Center (CLC) is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of the Children’s Learning Center with a focus on policy, education and program direction. The Director works with other departments, schools/colleges, outside agencies, professional organizations and individuals to meet the goals of UWM and the Children’s Learning Center for research, teaching and community service. The Director has full accountability for the Children’s Learning Center budget, including generation of user fees, segregated fees and other funding sources as needed.
The finalists have been asked to prepare a 20 minute presentation on the topic “Vison for leadership of a campus child care center that provides quality care to children and families and is an integral part of the Division of Student Affairs, Student Life and Services Team“, followed by a Q&A interview with the audience. The finalists’ letter of application, on-campus interview itinerary, and finalist feedback survey are listed below. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the finalists and gather information for constructive feedback.
