Director of Advocacy and Engagement

The Division of Student Affairs and UWM is hosting four finalists for the position of Director of Advocacy and Engagement.

Reporting to the Chief Student Affairs Officer in the Division of Student Affairs, the Director of Engagement and Advocacy will work across the Division and institution to advocate for the equity and inclusion priorities held within the Division of Student Affairs and identified by the University; with primary functions of providing leadership to the Centers for Advocacy and Student Engagement (CASE) staff, sharing expertise and coaching for specific equity and justice initiatives; collaborating and creating strong partnerships within the University and out into the community to support students in their educational success.

The finalists have been asked to prepare a 15-20 minute presentation on the topic “What is your plan for leading the Division of Student Affairs in supporting a culture of inclusion and equity at all levels (students, staff, administration)?”, followed by a Q&A interview with the audience. The finalists’ letter of application, final interview itinerary, and finalist feedback survey are listed below. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the finalists and gather information for constructive feedback.
