Executive Director of Student Life & Services
The Division of Student Affairs and UWM is hosting five finalists for the position of Executive Director Student of Life and Services.
Reporting to the Chief Student Affairs Officer, the Executive Director of Student Life & Services is responsible for leading student-centered Divisional efforts that foster a culture of excellence and quality service orientation within all areas of responsibility, providing strategic direction and oversight for student life and services with a sharp focus on the needs of students today and in the future, and a deep commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. The Executive Director of Student Life & Services provides direct leadership, management and oversight of the following Divisional departments: University Housing, Student Union, Retail Services, Children’s Learning Center, Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology. As a member of the Student Affairs Leadership Team, this person is expected to lead and advocate for all campus and divisional priorities, identifying opportunities to integrate efforts cross-divisionally, helping to align divisional and departmental efforts in support of the divisional vision, values, and priorities in an integrated, cross-functional way.
The finalists have been asked to prepare a 20 minute presentation on the topic “A Vision and Strategies for Supporting and Enhancing the Student Experience at UW-Milwaukee“, followed by a Q&A interview with the audience. The finalists’ letter of application, on-campus interview itinerary, and finalist feedback survey are listed below. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the finalists and gather information for constructive feedback.
