As a Program Evaluator for SREed, Beth uses her training in qualitative and quantitative research methods and program evaluation theories and techniques. Beth is a member of the American Evaluation Association and served on the board of directors of the Minnesota Evaluation Association.
Beth graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, College of Education and Human Development with a concentration in evaluation studies. During graduate school, she worked as a program evaluator for the North Star STEM Alliance, a partnership of Minnesota colleges working to increase the number of students from racial and ethnic groups traditionally underrepresented in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) who earn bachelor’s degrees in these fields.
Prior to attending graduate school, Beth worked at various nonprofits in the Philadelphia area. These positions included working as a program officer for the Philadelphia Youth Network (a youth workforce development intermediary), working as an associate for the College Board, and teaching creative writing to high school students in a college access and success program.
