Panel on Internships for Students in Social Sciences and Humanities

Are you majoring in history, English, communication, urban studies, sociology, political science, or other social science or humanities area? Would you like to learn about options for internships? Join us for a panel discussion and networking to learn about internship opportunities. Hear from local professionals about opportunities at their companies, non-profit organizations and government agencies.
The panel will include professionals from the Milwaukee Justice Center, the City of Milwaukee, U.S. Senate offices and Associated Bank, along with current interns. Panelists will share what interns do at their organization and what skills you can build. The discussion will be 45 minutes, with 15 minutes for questions. Then, 30 minutes of informal networking will include complimentary coffee, soda, pizza and cookies. The event is open to students in any major.
