Fall into Research: Discovery & Access — A Discussion and Workshop

November 12, 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Join UWM Libraries for a discussion with Lorraine Malcoe, associate professor and Undergraduate Program director at the Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health, on challenges and strategies for discovering and accessing scholarly content.

Kathryn Zielski, director of global outreach at Third Iron, will then lead a workshop on usage of LibKey and Browzine applications to improve your experience finding and accessing full text resources.

UWM Libraries continue to invest in tools that support teaching, learning and research in an online environment where faculty, staff and students are increasingly working and learning off-campus.

Participants will learn to use Third Iron’s LibKey suite and BrowZine products that will simplify and accelerate discovery and access to full-text content.

Participants should bring their own Wi-Fi enabled device to activate the apps for personal use. For more information visit the 2021 Fall into Research guide. Space is limited. Register for the event here: https://tinyurl.com/2021fallintoresearch

If you have questions about the event please contact a member of the team, Kate Ganski, Svetlana Korolev, Stephanie Surach or Carrie Wade.
