Fall, Spring, Summer

I earned my PhD from Michigan State University in French sociolinguistics, and have been at UWM for 17 years. I am currently the chair of the department of French, Italian and Comparative Literature, as well as the Coordinator of the Food Studies Certificate program. My research focuses on language, language perception, and the language of food. I have coordinated one food related conference on campus here, and my latest article, ready for submission, is entitled “Framing the table: the Language of Eating.”
