Prof. Clark Evans is an Associate Professor with and the Program Coordinator for the Atmospheric Science Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He joined UWM’s faculty in 2011 after completing a postdoctoral fellowship with the Advanced Study Program at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. He received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Meteorology from Florida State University in 2004, 2006, and 2009, respectively. Clark’s research interests lie with better understanding the dynamics and predictability of meso- to synoptic-scale meteorological phenomena such as mesoscale convective systems, convection initiation, and tropical cyclones.
