This presentation will focus on the vital role that records and archives play in society. Archives are vital concentrators of knowledge because of their role in centralizing access to records. Records are essential extensions of human memory that can be used to help bind society together and serve as tools of social justice and reconciliation.
The goal of this presentation is to highlight to the audience the important role that archives and records play in the world around them and to foster within them a greater appreciation of the need for archives and archivists.
The presentation is probably best for people older than twelve, involves the use of a computer with a projector, and is (to a certain extent) customizable.
