The Sociology department is happy to share that Liz Lepikhova has received the ASA Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant! The selective grant is awarded to 25 students each year whose research has the potential to advance social scientific knowledge and public good. Liz’s dissertation, “The Ink that Binds,” examines the proliferation of racial covenants in Milwaukee through novel methods and data.
