have slightly different requirements for field education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-foundation-msw-students\">Foundation MSW Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foundation MSW students are required to complete four semesters of field education.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These semesters are typically divided into two separate field placements of two semesters each.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These are the course numbers associated with foundation MSW field placements:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SW 721<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SW 722<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SW 821<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SW 822<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-notice uwm-p-notice--info\"><i class=\"fa-solid fa-circle-info fa-fw\"><\/i><div class=\"uwm-p-notice--content\"><div class=\"uwm-p-notice--message\">Foundation students are required to complete one online asynchronous field seminar during their first field course (SW 721), which is facilitated by field faculty.\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-advanced-standing-msw-students\">Advanced Standing MSW Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advanced standing students are required to complete one, three-semester field placement.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These are the course numbers associated with an advanced standing MSW field placement:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SW 722<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SW 821<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SW 822 <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is no additional field seminar required for these courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-post-msw-students\">Post-MSW Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These students are almost exclusively part of the School Social Work program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All school social work students should immediately contact the School Social Work Coordinator Ke\u2019Andra Hagans (<a href=\"mailto:klhagans@uwm.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">klhagans@uwm.edu<\/a>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deadlines and requirements for school social work may differ due to Department of Public Instruction (DPI) regulations.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hours-required-for-msw-courses\">Hours required for MSW courses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<table id=\"tablepress-15\" field<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty field liaisons review applications on a rolling basis around the middle of each month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your field liaison will work with you to
