Alissa Mathison, MA

Alissa Mathison is the communications manager at the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare. Her main role is to develop and implement communication strategies to promote and support the school. She manages the Helen Bader School's social media, website, external communications, and digital marketing campaigns.

Alissa studied sociology and criminal justice at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and earned her master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. At UWM, Alissa received a graduate certificate in professional writing and communication in 2014. Previous to her position at UW-Milwaukee, she worked as a designer and art director.
