Jen Kahn-Pettigrew joined the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare in 2015 as a clinical assistant professor and social work field liaison. She works with agencies to place students in the areas of geriatrics, hospice, disabilities, and adoption.

In 2019, she joined the Helen Bader Office of Applied Gerontology as the coordinator of education and programming.

Jen earned her MSW at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She earned a bachelor of arts in both psychology and women's studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jen is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education.
