CANCELED – Intersection Between Homeless, Mental Illness and Substance Abuse

THIS EVENT IS CANCELED. The Helen Bader School of Social Welfare Social Justice Committee invites you to attend a lunch and learn on the intersection between homeless, mental illness and substance abuse with Chad Stiles and Ashley Wisnefske.

Students, alumni, faculty, staff and the general public are all invited to attend. Please let us know if you’ll be attending by Thursday, April 2. Email: hbssw-socialjustice@uwm.edu

Officer Chad Stiles has been with Milwaukee Police Department since 2002, and is a member of the Crisis Intervention Team and Homeless Outreach Teams. He is currently assigned to District 7. He is also a registered nurse, paramedic and firefighter.

Ashley Wisnefske received her undergraduate degree in social work from UW-Milwaukee. She also obtained her master’s degree in public health from UW-Milwaukee with an emphasis in trauma informed care. She currently works as an outreach and housing manager through Outreach Community Health Center.
