Shared Services, in collaboration with Central Human Resources, works with supported units to ensure new and continued employee success. It is important to retain our talented employees and their skills and institutional knowledge. HR Business Partners and HR Operations staff in Shared Services provide services related to performance management and training to ensure the continued growth of UWM faculty and staff.

Services Provided:

  • Mandatory Trainings

    Assist in tracking and monitoring completion of mandated training (e.g. Sexual Harassment, Data Security) for Shared Services population.

  • Performance Management

    Standardize resources/materials for performance management. In collaboration with Central Human Resources, advise on policies/procedures related to evaluations and performance improvement

  • Succession Planning/Reorganization

    Assistance regarding succession planning and reorganizations to optimize FTE use.
