DESCRIPTION:Join to hear LGBTQ+ professionals speak on their experiences related to gender identity! \nIndustry Professionals: \nLauren Duncan (she/her/hers) Lauren has an MBA and Masters in Mechanical Engineering and works at the world’s premier aerospace company. Beyond her day job – Lauren is active in building a world that is more inclusive for transgender individuals. She is active in the LGBTQ community inside of corporate environments and in the local Cincinnati community. \nA.L. Hu (they/them/theirs) A.L. Hu\, AIA\, NOMA\, EcoDistricts AP\, is a queer\, nonbinary transgender Taiwanese-American organizer\, facilitator\, and Registered Architect who lives and works in New York City. Their practice synthesizes organizing for racial\, class\, and gender justice with design; rethinks the architect’s role in facilitating accessible spaces; and manifests in design\, visual media\, and collaborative cultural work. \nThis event will take place virtually.
