Almquist, E. Cochrane, L. Eastman (ex-officio), G. Henion, K. Morgan,<br>M. Vallejo, S. Wirka<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Absent:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; T. Nation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:upper-roman\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Call to Order-The meeting was called to order at 11:02 a.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approval of Minutes September 17, 2025-The minutes were approved as submitted via auto consent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replace G. Henion on committees-Chair Morgan thanked G. Henion for his years of service.\u00a0 He will be missed.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">US Senate-G. Henion spoke with his co-worker at Zilber and she would be interested in serving in his place on the US Senate.\u00a0 The committee felt this would be an excellent choice.\u00a0 L. Eastman will reach out to confirm with Maryam Muhammad.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">University Staff Committee (USC)-L. Eastman will check the last election results and confirm next eligible candidate.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">US Nominations Committee-L. Ross or S. Ruditys were nominated to serve on the committee.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SEM retention council-K. Valerius was put forward as candidates.\u00a0 L. Eastman will reach out and see if available to serve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search and Screen Member for Vice Chancellor for Vice Chancellor for Marketing and Communications (Marcomm) (3-4 nominees)-The committee will forward four names for the search and screen.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">K. Morgan<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">P. Geraci<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">C. Peterson<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>S. Ruditys<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replace S. Fuller-Mu\u00f1iz\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">US Senate-More recruitment will take place to fill out the Senate.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>US Grievance Committee-S. Wirka was nominated to take S. Fuller-Mu\u00f1iz place on the committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member updates-There were no member updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New\/Other Business\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Potential Other Replacements coming up for 25-26\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">G. Dukes announced she would be retiring in early 2026.\u00a0 A. Dempsey-Fischer will replace her as chair.\u00a0 L.
