This ensures that the SecU office retains a complete record of committee business. The reflector address is listed in the upper right-hand corner of each\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/secu\/governance\/faculty\/standing-committees\/\">committee\u2019s webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"open-meeting-notices\">Open Meeting Notices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You must submit an open meeting notice at least 24 hours in advance of each meeting. For more information, please refer to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/secu\/resources\/open-meetings\/\">Open Meetings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"agendas-minutes\">Agendas\/Minutes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Agendas and minutes must be recorded for every meeting. When using the email reflector, the SecU office will automatically receive the agenda when you send it to the committee members. Minutes should be submitted to the SecU office after they are approved by the committee at their next meeting. Please send approved minutes to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:secofunv@uwm.edu\">secofunv@uwm.edu<\/a>. Agenda and minutes templates are available upon request from the SecU office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"committee-recommendations\">Committee Recommendations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If your committee makes a recommendation that requires action by the Faculty or Faculty Senate, please submit it along with a written rationale to the SecU office. It will be forwarded to the Faculty Codification Committee and\/or the Faculty Senate Rules Committee for placement on the Faculty Senate agenda.
