If you don&#8217;t see an answer to your question here, please feel free to <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/science-bag\/contact\">contact us<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frequently Asked Questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion uwm-p-accordion--icon-left-circle\" data-accordion-prefix-classes=\"uwm\" data-accordion-cool-selectors=\"1\"><button class=\"uwm-p-accordion--toggle-button size-p-md\">Expand All<\/button>\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--header\">Are the presentations open to the public and to children?<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel\"><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel-inner uwm-u-clear\">\n<p class=\"default\">Yes! All presentations are open to anyone who wants to attend. The content is meant for the general public and no prior science knowledge is required. Every child has different attention spans, but in general the presentations are well-suited for ages 10 and up. Some younger children will also find the presentation compelling and understandable.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--header\">How long is an average presentation?<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel\"><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel-inner uwm-u-clear\">\n<p class=\"default\">The event is approximately 50 to 60 minutes total. Depending on the topic there may be presentation time, demonstration time, and audience Q&amp;A.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--header\">Is this free?<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel\"><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel-inner uwm-u-clear\">\n<p>Yes!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--header\">Where can I park? How much is parking?<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel\"><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel-inner uwm-u-clear\">\n<p>There are multiple parking garages on campus or nearby street parking. Costs vary by location. See the campus&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/transportation\/\">transportation page<\/a> for more information about on-campus parking as well as other transportation options.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--header\">Where on campus is this located?<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel\"><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel-inner uwm-u-clear\">\n<p class=\"uwm-c-link--external\">All Science Bag events will take place in Lapham Hall, Room N103. Lapham Hall is located just north of the intersection of Kenwood Boulevard and Maryland Avenue. If you are bringing an exceptionally large group (15 or more people), you can email us ahead of time so that we can make sure to save a group of seats together for you. Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/transportation\/parking\/\">UWM Transportation website<\/a> for current information about rates and available lots. The closest garages to our building are the Union and the Lubar College of Business. Short-term free and metered parking may also be available on local streets. Students looking for regular on-campus parking should look at the permits section of the Transportation web site.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>Public Transportation<\/h2>\r\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Milwaukee County Transit buses regularly run the perimeter of the campus on Edgewood Ave., Downer Ave., Kenwood Blvd., and Oakland Ave., and through campus on Hartford and Maryland. For buses and route information, please check the <a class=\"uwm-c-link--external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ridemcts.com\/\">Milwaukee County Transit System website<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>Biking<\/h2>\r\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Bike racks are available around the UWM campus.
