F. Building Relationships and Supporting Child Regulation

We will review the fundamentals of relationship building and child self-regulation for children ages 3-5 years old. We will focus on specific parts of the day (choice time, circle time, and small group) to reinforce the strategies for relationship building and self-regulation. Using different scenarios provided the group will brainstorm solutions. We will reflect on our own practices and how we can best inform and support staff in applying these principles.
