Spotlight Series for ECE Leaders

We’re pleased to offer the new Spotlight Series for early childhood leaders who are ready and eager to discover new ways of thinking about leadership, vision and purpose.

The series is an experiment in thinking together, featuring more dialogue than book study. Together we can learn from others who have struggled and thrived in their leadership challenges. We at the Center for Early Childhood Professional Development and Leadership treasure relational gatherings – time and space where we can dream, share and learn from the very best. We look forward to weaving together proven strategies and stories to create cultures of nurture and support … where everyone’s voice is heard and where everyone – children, families, teachers, directors, leaders and followers – thrives!

We shine a spotlight on today’s thought leaders … authors inside and outside our field, whose work focuses on leadership. We look to inspirational professionals such as Seth Godin and Brene Brown as well as local authors including Ann Terrell and Deana Singh. Topics include resilience, grace, purpose, flexibility, compassion and strategy, to name a few. Of course, we want to hear your ideas too! If you have a topic or author you’d like us to consider, contact Angel Stoddard.

This Spotlight Series offers 10 sessions on the third Wednesday of each month (excluding October and April). You can attend all or some – although we’re confident you’ll want to be part of every conversation!

Adrienne Baree Brown encourages us to “Shape the future you want to live.” Let’s discover together how we can begin and continue to shape that future!
