UWM’s College for Kids & Teens offers a variety of special programming for high school and middle school students that empowers them to explore their passions and develop valuable skills. Special program classes are either longer than two hours each day or are longer than a typical one- or two-week class session.
From fostering creativity in writing through the UW-Milwaukee Writing Project to addressing climate and ecosystem challenges with the School of Freshwater Sciences, these programs provide immersive learning experiences guided by experts. Each initiative emphasizes innovation, community building and career exploration, creating opportunities for students to grow as writers, scientists and future leaders.
