Korean

Korean is spoken by 63 million people, mostly in South Korea, North Korea, China and Japan. Grammatically, Korean is similar to Japanese and much of its vocabulary comes from Chinese.

At UWM’s School of Continuing Education, you’ll find a variety of course levels that teach the fundamentals of the Korean language (up to level X) in addition to several conversation courses to expand your speaking skills. Beginners start by learning the Hangul and Korean alphabets.
