*Update* All scholarship forms are located below; please download PDFs. For any questions or concerns, please contact us at 414-227-3360 or email us at cfkids@uwm.edu.

The College for Kids academic enrichment program provides children with high academic potential, subject matter interest, motivation or talent with a summer educational supplement. This program consists of one-week and two-week classes taught by faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and other specially selected teachers. Class size is limited to 18 students. We currently offer three scholarship and tuition assistance opportunities:

  • K5-5th grade Needs-based Scholarship
  • 6th-12th grade DPI Pre-College Scholarship
  • 9th-12th grade Tuition Assistance for Northwest Mutual Data Science Institute Certificate Track

The classes are designed for children entering 5 yr. Kindergarten through 12th grade next fall. Kindergartners must be 5 years old and have had a prior 5-day/week school experience.

To help you in determining which of your students you should recommend, here is additional information about this year’s scholarship program:

  • Transportation is the responsibility of the student’s family. Please discuss with the parent(s) of the student before recommending him/her.
  • The College for Kids office will notify accepted recipients. As in past years, we will offer Department of Public Instruction (DPI) scholarships for students currently in grades 5 through 11. DPI scholarship information is attached.  These scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis as long as funds are available.
