Tanya Paul

Dr. Tanya Paul came to the Milwaukee Art Museum in 2013 from the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she was curator of European art. Paul has been working in museums for nearly 20 years, including stints at the J. Paul Getty Museum, The Sarah Campbell Blaffer Foundation at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the University of Virginia Art Museum. She has organized countless exhibitions, such as “Elegance and Refinement: The Still Life Paintings of Willem van Aelst” (2012) and “Monet and the Seine: Impressions of a River” (2014), and oversaw the reinstallation of Milwaukee’s European collection.
