Santo Salilture

Santo Salilture is a native of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Salilture graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1956 with a BS in Journalism. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1956 and served as reporter for “Stars and Stripes” newspaper at U. S. Army Headquarters in Heidelberg,Germany. Salilture spent a 40-year career in communications at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. where he rose to director of advertising and public relations, where he helped make the slogan “The Quiet Company” become well-known nationally by running ads on upscale programs from the Olympics to the Super Bowl.
