Oscar Avila

Avila is a project specialist at Eppstein Uhen Architects and member of the architectural review board for the village of Brown Deer. He also currently teaches Principles of Building Information Modeling using Revit at the UWM School of Architecture and Urban Planning. He enjoys using his advanced knowledge in project setup, layout and problem-solving to teach and learn from others. He believes that every day provides the opportunity to learn something new and beneficial. Avila’s passion for design is based on the philosophy of a “people first” approach that focuses on creating spaces that respect people’s needs and desires. Most of his experience in the field is based on senior living, residential, multifamily and health care within the technical and production side, involved in complex modeling, detailing and construction administration for large projects.
