Nicole Pretre is an award-winning, articulate, experienced, and performance-driven senior living executive with an in-depth understanding of long-term care services and supports; strategic leadership, visioning and planning; business development, budgeting, pricing, and growth strategies; and strategic marketing and public relations. Nicole is a sought-after advisor to her team, her colleagues, and her peers in the larger senior living community. She currently serves as the Vice President of Development at Cedar Community, a Life Plan Community home to nearly 900 residents, offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, home health, and hospice care. Nicole is a credentialed professional gerontologist, through the National Association of Gerontologists. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a master’s degree in gerontology and management of aging services from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, a certificate in fundraising management from the Indiana University Lilly School of Philanthropy, and she is currently working on her Master’s in business administration through Concordia University. Nicole is also an Emmy-nominated journalist and holds numerous awards from the Associated Press, the Wisconsin Broadcaster’s Association, and the Milwaukee Press Club.
