Neal Korfhage

Neal Korfage is a second generation scientific glassblower with more than 25 years of experience in the field. He first started learning scientific glassblowing under his father’s guidance at the young age of 15. He received formal training from Salem Community College in Carney’s Point, New Jersey – the only school in the United States that teaches it as a formal degree program. Upon ending his time at Salem he worked for Sigma-Aldrich Corporation for 11 years completing an apprenticeship and then receiving two promotions, to scientific glassblower, then senior scientific glassblower. He’s held his current position at UW-Milwaukee in the Chemistry Department since 2005.
