Mike Fischer

Mike Fischer is a Milwaukee-based dramaturge and a member of the Advisory Company of artists for Forward Theater in Madison. For 15 years, he saw over 200 plays each year on behalf of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, for which he began reviewing plays and books in 2003. Mike served as chief drama critic for the Journal-Sentinel from 2009-18. Mike has written essays and educational materials for numerous Wisconsin theater productions. Mike is also a host of Theater Forward (a bimonthly theater podcast).
