Maureen McKnight

Maureen McKnight is an Associate Professor at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her research focuses on the cultural work of memory and the emotions in American Literature. She has published articles on Zora Neale Hurston in “The Southern Quarterly,” on Charles Chesnutt in the “Iowa Journal of Cultural Studies,” and on “Mad Men” in “Screening Images of American Masculinity in the Age of Postfeminism.” At Cardinal Stritch, she teaches American Literature, Film, and Writing. In 2013, she received the University’s Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership award.
