Matthew Gutierrez

Matthew has obtained a bachelor’s in science, and a master’s in educational psychology, with a concentration in school counseling, from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). While studying at UWM he has written and performed on campus and within the Milwaukee community. He has contributed as a writer for several UWM magazines, as well as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Other areas of study are as follows: screenplay-writing courses’ at Northwestern and UCLA, improv at Second City Chicago and voice-over courses in both Milwaukee and Chicago.

Matthew has worked within the Milwaukee nonprofit and educational community since 2006, and is currently a school counselor for the Milwaukee Public School system. He has previously served as an academic lecturer for TRIO and pre-college programs.
