Matt Mabee

Matthew Mabee (M.Arch) is the manager of the Rapid Prototyping Lab at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at UWM. In addition to educating students in the use of 3D printers, CNC and laser cutters, Matt has led several studios on building skins, precast concrete and BIM. He has a particular interest in the design process through making and using manual or computer-controlled tools and studying how these tools influence design.

In addition to his work at SARUP, Matt designs and builds custom furniture and artwork at his firm Fabitecture, which he started in 2011.
