Mary McLaughlin is currently the director of Talent Development at Komatsu, responsible for learning programs, performance management, succession planning and leadership development. Mary joined the Komatsu organization in March 2019, having worked in the talent management/organizational development field since 2002 mainly in manufacturing. Mary previously held positions at the Kohler Company, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Quad Graphics and Rogers Behavioral Health. Mary’s expertise is in talent management, specifically performance management, succession planning and leadership development, as well as learning programs administration. She also has expertise in organizational development, specifically coaching, assessment administration and interpretation, and meeting design and facilitation. From a personal perspective, Mary is passionate about helping people learn and grow in their profession and in a broader sense helping organizations flourish and reach their business objectives through the development of talent.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys reading, gardening and painting. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Science in organizational behavior and management from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
