Marc Levine, PhD
Marc V. Levine is Professor Emeritus of history, economic development, and urban studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was the co-founder and long-time director of the UWM Center for Economic Development. He has researched and written extensively on poverty and racial inequality, including recent studies: Milwaukee 53206: The Anatomy of Concentrated Disadvantage in an Inner City Neighborhood, 2000-2017; and The State of Black Milwaukee in National Perspective: Racial Inequality in the Nation’s 50 Largest Metropolitan Areas.
