Linda Hall is the new director of the Office of Children’s Mental Health. Hall led the Wisconsin Association of Family and Children’s Agencies before joining the office in 2020.
For the past 25 years, she worked for the Wisconsin Association of Family and Children’s Agencies – serving as the executive director since 2006. In 2016, WAFCA began supporting the Coalition for Expanding School-Based Mental Health in Wisconsin with Hall serving as the treasurer and key point person on legislative matters. The Office of Children’s Mental Health was created in 2013 to innovate, integrate and improve Wisconsin’s child and family service systems so our children, youth and families thrive. Regarding the appointment of Hall, Governor Evers stated, “…it is critical for us to have an office that is dedicated to helping connect the dots related to children’s mental health to ensure that we are all working together to support Wisconsin’s children in achieving their optimal social and emotional well-being. I’m very proud and excited to announce that Linda Hall will be joining my team to serve in this vital leadership role to support the well-being of our families.”
