Kristy Yang

Kristy Yang is a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge. She was elected to a six-year term in April, 2017. Judge Yang is the first Asian American woman elected to the judiciary in Wisconsin and the first elected, without appointment, of Hmong ethnicity. Prior to ascending to the bench, she was in private practice and practiced family law, worker’s compensation and social security disability. She is a wife and mother to three beautiful daughters.
