Jordan Fishman received his bachelor science degree from UWM in education and a master’s degree at Cardinal Stitch University in special education where he also received certification in school administration and director of instruction.
He is a lifelong educator who taught special needs students and was at the forefront of the inclusion movement. He is published in the national Middle School Journal highlighting a successful inclusion model which was implemented at Kosciuszko Middle School where he taught. During his 30-year career in Milwaukee Public Schools, he spent 23 years as an administrator and specialized in special education and school climate.
Mr. Fishman believes that all children can learn in a least restrictive environment with the guidance of the school staff. To achieve this, the students need consistency and an analysis of what can best meet their needs.
