Jonathon Wipplinger

Jonathan Wipplinger is associate Professor of German at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). In his scholarship, he explores intersections between music and (popular) culture in the German-speaking world from the nineteenth century through the present. He has taught courses on German cultural history since 1800, hip hop in Germany, and the Weimar Republic.
