Jessica Bellant

Jessica Bellant currently serves as the Director of Prevention & Education at The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Inc. Previously, she held roles as an Adjunct Professor at Lee College and as a Legal Advocate & Counselor at Safe House Center. Jessica holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Social Work from Baylor University-Diana R. Garland School of Social Work.

Jessica is deeply engaged in the intimate partner violence movement and is recognized as a public speaker and trainer on issues related to sexual and domestic violence, trauma-informed care and primary prevention of violence. She specializes in designing and leading interactive workshops that facilitate critical conversations on sensitive topics.

Working alongside her dedicated team, Jessica is committed to building communities where sexual and domestic violence, and the cultural norms that perpetuate them, are no longer tolerated.
