Jason Spottek

Jason Spottek has been teaching since 2003. He started teaching private lessons in music stores, then worked in MPS as a traveling music teacher, teaching bass, cello and violin. Later he taught orchestra at Marshall High School. There he developed and taught classical guitar and piano classes. Jason has experience working with students from K4 to age 55 and older. He earned a bachelor’s in music from Cardinal Stritch in 2007.

Jason is an accomplished performer as well. He has performed in multiple musical pit orchestras at Cardinal Stritch, Shorewood High School and others. He has performed with The Festival City Symphony and the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra. He has also led his own jazz group, The Jason Spottek Ensemble. He has performed with other jazz musicians in various groups around Milwaukee. You may have seen him play bass with The Magnificents or Gin Mill Jubilee. You can currently catch him performing with The Four Guyz in Dinner Jackets, and The New Vintage Frets.
