Jackie Guthrie

Jackie Guthrie has nearly 30 years of public affairs experience, primary in the Wisconsin National Guard where she conducted public affairs operations in the United States and abroad, including responding to several natural disasters, and providing public and government affairs council to numerous senior leaders on highly sensitive issues. She retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel in 2013 and currently serves as the director of government affairs for the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs. Jackie has also served as a communications adjunct instructor at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and as a featured speaker at numerous PRSA, PRSSA and DoD public affairs seminars and conferences.

Jackie has a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, a Master’s in Public Administration from Webster University, St. Louis, Mo., and she is Accredited in Public Relations + Military communication (APR+M).
