Scott Lovy

Scott Lovy is a life-long resident of the Milwaukee area. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering from UW-Platteville in 1988. He is currently employed at a benefit management solutions company, where he is able to utilize all of his software skills on various technology fronts. He has also managed an established leading software development and consulting firm, providing IT software solutions for companies throughout the southeastern Wisconsin area for more than 10 years.

His most recent “side” venture is working with Android phone app development, where he has started a new company and developed a new product called WrestlingPad (www.wrestlingpad.com).

Being in IT consulting for more than 20 years has allowed him to gain experience in just about every industry within this market. Lovy’s expertise has made him a speaker in demand at various seminars sponsored by chambers of commerce and at company and IT events. He conducts software development training with various technologies and application trainings. Creating strong networking relationships has been pivotal in Lovy’s personal success.

However, Lovy’s true enjoyment comes with his enthusiasm for coding. Whether it be .NET, JQUERY, HTML or XML, digging into the code, making it work more efficiently and making things happen in the “real world” is where it all starts for him. This enthusiasm and focus is definitely highlighted in his courses and how they are designed at UWM.
