Laura Kletti Herrick

Laura Herrick has 23 years of experience as a water resource engineer. Over the last two years in her current position as chief environmental engineer with the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, she has been leading hydrologic and hydraulic modeling efforts for numerous streams in southeastern Wisconsin. These studies include floodplain determinations in Milwaukee County for the Menomonee, Kinnickinnic and Root River watersheds. Currently Laura has begun work on the Oak Creek Watershed Restoration Plan. She is a registered professional engineer in the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota and an Association State Floodplain Managers Certified Floodplain Manager.

Laura received a BS degree in civil engineering from Valparaiso University and an MS in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota. She currently serves as a board advisor for the Wisconsin Association for Floodplain, Stormwater, and Coastal Management (WAFSCM).
