Dan Chojnacki has been working with nonprofit community organizations since joining the sector in 2003, when he served as a camp counselor during a summer break from college. From 2008 to 2014, Dan served as the Director of Community Partnerships for Public Allies Milwaukee, an organization that develops talented young leaders who represent the diversity and assets of Milwaukee’s many communities. During this time, he helped to create and sustain collaborations with over 70 community organizations, including schools, faith-based and government agencies, and private nonprofits of all sizes. In 2013, Dan completed a Master’s in Community Counseling with an emphasis on families, youth and multicultural counseling. Dan currently serves as the Lead Counselor with the Milwaukee Young Parenthood Study at the Zilber School of Public Health. He lives in Bay View with his partner and their two sons.
