Carrie Bristoll-Groll, PE, CFM

Using “global knowledge to create local solutions”, is her mission. Since 1994, Carrie has been working in the field of storm water engineering, starting her career as a Civil/Stormwater Engineer at the Cities of Milwaukee and Brookfield prior to founding SSE in 2002. Some of the exciting projects at SSE include designing hydraulic analysis and full drainage system analysis for both water quality and quantity, incorporating “green” biofiltration, porous pavement and underground storage for clients such as WisDOT, MMSD, Milwaukee County, Cities of Hartford and Brookfield, in addition to many private clients.
In her spare time, Carrie serves as the Treasurer for WAFSCM (Wisconsin Association of Floodplain, Stormwater and Coastal Management), is a technical mentor for Engineer’s Without Borders and a Co-Chair for the ACEC-WI Small Firm Committee. She also enjoys motorcycling, kayaking, cooking, hunting and camping.
