Henry Kepner

Henry is professor emeritus at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is Past President of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics, and the Association of Mathematics Teachers Educators. He taught middle and high school mathematics for over 10 years in Iowa and Milwaukee, and continues to be involved in professional development with teachers in MPS and numerous districts since 1972. He was a Program Officer at the National Science Foundation and served as Associate Dean at UWM. Henry was on the NCTM Board during the creation of the 1989 Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics and served as president during the development of the Common State Standards in Mathematics.
