Floyd Easterman

His world of imagination began with childhood visits to Chicago’s Field Museum of Natural History. At age 11, he took a correspondence course in taxidermy. Working late into the night he never gave up and honed his skills with the following: Jonas Bros. Taxidermists in Denver; Ward’s Natural Science Establishment in Rochester, NY; Anthony Scorza in East Rochester, NY; and Owen J. Gromme at the Milwaukee Public Museum. After nearly 40 years at MPM, he retired in 2004 as Chief Taxidermist.
