Dylan Gore

Although this is only his second year teaching, Dylan is a passionate and driven educator. He has his Bachelor’s degree in English Education with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a proud MPS employee, currently teaching English 9 and Honors English 9 at Golda Meir School for the Gifted and Talented. Dylan supports his students and his school community at large by attending many school sporting events, basketball being among his favorite. He also enjoys going to Milwaukee Bucks games with his friends and family whenever he can. Dylan is a teacher who is dedicated to the city of Milwaukee and who focuses on diversity and inclusion in his classroom. He enjoys allowing his students to express themselves through written and spoken word, and he shares his passion for writing with them as well. His often over-the-top lesson plans display his passion for the subject he teaches and keep his students engaged and immersed in the material they are learning. One of his favorite things to teach is The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe. As a former attendee of both the UWM Children’s Center and College for Kids, Dylan is looking forward to spending his summer on campus in a different capacity.
